Shame its a LTD surround, not a Ghia/Fairlane one...

Lucky he doesnt know that, or the price might be higher...

But yes, this bloke is a retard... Retard on the phone and on the net, and an even bigger retard in person... I have had the displeasure of meeting him :?

Yes... But I think we both know that really good ones are rarer than rocking horse s**t and birds teeth put together... And when one pops up, it must be bought for fear of never finding one again. :(

Speaking from experience i got one yesterday for $150 - they all go for that.

I sold my old one for $100 as my old one had mobile phone holes.

Even when a car is sold for auction these and leather knob are taken first.

Some wreckers charge more as you have to buy the whole console.

Think of it as an "investment".

The seller does great service - in my opinion.

I think you might be going to the wrong wreckers in that case.

They can be had from $30 on my side of town. Depending on wrecker and whether they have them.

$50 to $100 is more the norm, with $100 generally being a perfect one. The one in my car now cost $90, and was perfect, mark free. I have one now that is in excellent condition I bought for $80. It has a pin prick of the woodgrain missing, but is otherwise excellent.

But sorry to all, that one is already sold. Bought it specifically for someone. :D
