Hello everyone, just bought a ba mkII xt 2004 and found the bottom of glove box which connects to the surround has broken on the surround plastics, and my question is does that surround come out separate to the rest of the dash and if so is it easy to do ?

The top of the Glove Box has a clip which you can release, then it folds down further and lifts up and out. Take it out and have a look, but if it isnt the lid I think it will be the dash section that has broken. Been a while since I took one out, if you have the broken part I would try using a " pin " ( drill a small hole and put a small nail or pin in ) and superglue. This is what the RC guys do and I have fixed a few broken things this way.
