hey guys looking at the xh centre console and the au 1 and they seem 2 both end at the bottom of the dash instead of continuing on, so was thinking that would be a good place to start 4 a retro fit! only thing is the shifter, does any1 no how difficult it would be to change??? thanks

Our AU work ute has an XF under dash tray in it! Wanted it for the cupholders (AU is column shift) and the extra space..

i guess so, Xh came standard with a pretty much eb console so yeah i dont see why not. Au consoles also go into XF. Hey its a cheep mod that comes in handy, i say give it a go. Where theres a will theres a way. Taking a guess but i imagine the hardest part will be running the ducting for the rear vents and if you have an AUTO wether the shifter will fit.

Are the AU cupholders any better than the EF/EL ones? The EF/EL ones are s**t. I can't count how many bottles and cans of crap my shift lever's drunk due to that f**k plastic bit falling down at the front of the cupholder.

Realy? Mine is great, mind you its painted in silver so i think a bit of the paint holds it up a bit stiffer

i dunno what your on but the BA Mk1 cup holders have the lid that supports the cups if you break heavy..... the Au ones dont support the cup high enough.
