Hi,
I bought some led's to replace the factory globes in my au because half the odo is barely visible at all. I got the cluster out no probs and all the globes with holders replaced, but how do i replace the globes behind the actual lcd? Or is it soldered on? Would i be better off getting a new cluster? |

Stick a flat head screw driver in the groove and give it a 1/4 turn anti-clockwise and they will come out the back of the lcd display , cheers

Thanks for that. Now, what kind of globe are these? They dont seem removeable from. The holder like the others, and i already smashed the blown one trying to get it out. Any idea where i can get a replacement? Cheers.

No they are one piece I got some led ones off ebay or I suppose you could get them from ford. (the ones I got off ebay I had to trim the locking tabs so the would click in)

Thanks mate. Any idea what they are called? Id prefer led's as thats what ive replaced the rest with. If you could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated

Yeah they are listed as "2 x SMD GLOBES FOR FORD EF EL AU BA BF XR6 XR8 FAIRMONT ODOMETER"
