eww!! retrofitting one of fords worst dashs in place of a not too bad one.... its your car.

as for the question at hand. I think you'll run into a s**t load of issues. The curve of the windscreen is different, so it will have to be modded heaps to fit up there, i imagine mounting would all be different. not sure about overall widths, but i imagine somehow they would be different requiring more work again. electricals would be an issue also i imagine

anything is possible with time and money... how much is it worth to you?

Honestly I would not bother. Even if I was paid to I would not do it. AU dashes are f**k ugly, but if your keen go find a BA dash, they look 50 thousand times better, and the differences in putting a BA in rather than AU will be minimal.

Good idea, havent looked at the BA dashes yet.
Im just sick of oldy goldy EF dashes as compared to sexy new model dashes.
but i reckon it will be a bit hard to find a BA dash, but will search around.
very keen to get it done no matter how much effort and time but with less $$$.

Will it fit is probably a better question. The series two etc dashes dont look too bad, much better then looking at a vb = vs dash that is for fuggin sure...
I am thinking of doing the same, only to run a manual xr6 vct engine etc and full sequential. should be interesting.
either that or just do it so i can run the au goodies like the engine protection it has in it to stop cooking the engine.

Was a XE wagon with Boss 290 motor BF bonet boldge, BF dash and console and seats, and to top it off BF clear repeaters was very nice.

A BA dash would be s**t harder to do than an AU dash though.

When I first got my EF I was driving around my brothers AU and he had the EF, as we were selling the AU (long story won't bother explaining). Anyway the point is when I got the EF back all my mates kept on saying how much the EF interior is better then the AU.

Put some nice stuff on the EF interior and it will be way better then an AU. Maybe paint or blue LEDs, SVO/Momo steering wheel.

The black AU2/3 interior looks alright, and the T series interiors, and interiors with black leather look very nice. I'd take a black AU interior over a grey ef interior.

why do you say that? the underneath of them would be similar wouldnt they? and they would both be similarly different from e series.

they both would be the same width and follow the same windscreen line. if you were going to the effort of doing an AU i cant imagine it would be much different to do a BA instead

EDIT: sorry, thats at glenns second last statement. lol

btw: AU interiors are terrible, i honestly couldnt own one purely for the interior

I'd like to see you get a BA ICC and instrument cluster work in an EF, thats why :D
You'd have a better chance getting an AU1 dash work.
