Hey everyone.

Just noticed an interesting issue on both the DU LTDs,

The back screw above the door latch has broken all around the hole and cracked the plastic.

One repair was done by using a bug washer, one was a small metal tab screwed on to try hold it.

The other one someone had glued a paddle pop stick to the indise edge of the trim to put a new hole through, but this had broken now too..

Anyone had this issue and know of an idea to fix?

Yeah.... We just got given incentive......

I have noticed that the AU trims dont mount the same as the earlier ones with the clips that go over the top edge (the part with the window felt slider whatever its called exactly bit) that you have to push down to clip the trim on before screws go in..

It seems the AU has that window strip as a separate piece and the skin just sits up against the door and is screwed to the mount points.

I am already onto some ideas to repair the area... So ill update you all for boobies sake..

I guess I may be pioneering here?
