Hey all,

my cruise has gone bonkers!..ive been looking at past threads and they seem similar..

lately my cruise will turn on my not engage when i hit 'set'... but then sometimes it will, and as of yesterday i had cruise on but when i hit a bump in the road it turned off?? then this morning coming to work it wouldnt set.. but when it finally did after say 5 or 6 seconds it turned off again??

can anyone help??

EDIT: just checked the fuse for the brake lights/cruise and its fine..

Make sure the brake switch and or cruise control switch is adjusted properly.I had a vehicle in at work which had the switch on all the time so the cruise control thought the brakes were on .Adjusted the switch and all was good .Something to check .Kevman

i checked all my lights yesty arvo.. all seemed good till i fiddled with the brake switch i just wriggled it a fraction and now the brake lights are stuck on.. from reading other threads i gather this is a common failure.. i guess thats why the cruise isnt working properly (not at all now as the brake lights are stuck on). I grabbed a new brake light swtich on the way to work today ($14!)..ill fit it up tonight.. hope thats all i need to do

all fixed brake light switch!
