Hi Guys,
I have an AU S1 and no matter what setting I have it on the air gets blown at my feet. When I change it to windscreen (after pulling out the glovebox) I can see a flap move up to redirect air and the noise it makes changes so "something" is working..... but it still stays at my feet. Anyone know whats going on? |

I had a similar problem on my EB2 where it was always blowing on the demister.
There was a tiny little vacumn hose behind the intake manifold that had fallen off. Slipped it back on and worked a treat again. I haven't had my AU for long so I am not sure if they run a similar setup.

Hi all,
Well I have traced the problem, wondering if anyone has come across it. Checked under the bonnet and all vacume lines are all good. Poped out the vacume plug under the dash with the car running and the air starts blowing to demister, once I connect it again it blows to feet. So I pulled the centre dash apart, looked behind at where the vacume lines plug into the position selector (demist, feet, face etc) and all was connected. Unplugged and it goes to demist... So I guess I am looking at a faulty selector am I right? Guess I will just have to wait till the components arrive to install the ghia dash and I wont need to worry. -rF |
