I am grafting an AUIII power distribution harness into my ED V8 fairmont to get rid of the ugly wiring stuff in the engine bay & under the overflow bottle. Have made new engine harness for the Motec M800 ecu.
The battery is now in the boot, have thrown out the plastic overflow bottle next to the shock tower & replaced it with a PWR aluminium tank (suits BA) mounted on top of shock tower. This leaves lots of room - so now have mounted AU Relay & fuse Box next to shock tower as per an AU & run the harness inside the guard.
The space left (where battery was) is for oil tank for dry sump.

Question - does anyone know what functions The BEM in a ED fairmont carried out in comparison to an AUIII BEM. It may be I can use some of them in the harness.

Richie
