the AU steering wheel will fit straight on. your switches will screw to the wheel the same as your EF ones and you scarebag will fit in aswell. you might want to paint your airbag black to match the wheel.

Would an AU Airbag cover fit an EF/EL? I reckon that would be a good mod to buy a black AU airbag cover as well.

oo thanks uglybob!! its going to be in a few weeks though.. so i'll get back to you ! :D

any rough ideas on how much an AU airbag would cost ?!
..i think i might just leave my airbag grey.. and change something like the gear knob to the leather instead.. maybe the handbreak aswell?

better start saving.. being a student i earn crap all a week :(

no worries

as for the handbrake/airbag/shifter - you can get ghia leather handbrake covers with chrome buttons - well worth it. the shifter handles - you can also get the leather ones w/ chrome buttons, but i'm looking at getting mine custom covered in black leather, and getting my s/wheel & airbag cover redone the same.... sopmething to think about anyways!

You would only need the airbag cover so i doubt it would cost a lot. XR8 Dismantler might have one you could buy.

The A/C module looks a bit out of place there
*cracks whip*

Yeah when I get some dosh together will probably get a new wheel, mine's startin to look pretty shagged , and must do some research on how much to do the shifter/handbrake in leather.. there's a good guy in Wangara (or is it Gnangara, whatever) that did my centre console lid pretty cheap so probably go back there and get a quote for us Perth guys.. 8-)

Cheers
