hey guys
im trying to put a AU series 1 ingnition barrel into a ford courier (year dont know old tho) cause i cant find a barrel for it what i need is to know what wire is what on the AU barrel eg yellow = acc black = earth etc ive tried doing a search came up with nothing even googled it i tried using a ef/el work manaul but the colours are different please help need to get this courier running again

Hi,
If you are still looking, try a multi meter, there should be 4 main power connections. Power in, Accessories, Ignition and Start. This will exclude any smart-lock things. Good luck with it.

Hopefully you will be able to read this. Have a look in my gallery, I've saved it there, this is pulled out of the AU manual, the Acc seems to be B-Y (or B-Lg) depending on which other page I look at. Or send me an email address and I'll pull the wiring pages for you.
The Y is + from the fusebox, ACC - see above, R-Gr goes to the Alternator, R-L goes to the Starter Motor Relay, V-W goes to the Instrument cluster via the brake fail diode and B goes to earth. |

Could someone please tell me which colour constant power from ignition would be? I want to hook up my amp using a wire from the barrel /colomn. I have series ll forte maybe a pic aswell if possible thanks in advance
