Hey so i just put blue leds through the cluster, looks awesome although the red needles are abit dull and you can barely see them i was wondering if the clear/white needles from an EF Cluster would work on this cluster. and if not what other ways can i get the needles to light up abit more!
Thanks.

some of the au series needles only have the orange painted on. get them. they can be cleaned off with nail polish remover. thats what i did. i sell leds on ebay and i use this pic. heres what mine look like. ef el needles may be ok. i have a set of ef el ones and au ones here, ill have a look at if they can be cleaned if interested

epic FAIL. EF needles are a no go simply because the design is so different. The AU needles are the clear red plastic which had a white back painted on them. The white back came off with nail polish and that didnt help the situation any i then decided to go further into the cluster and carve out underneath the centerpoint of the needles (it had a red film over it) so i carved it out hopeing it would help let the blue shine. this also failed i may just need to carve more out from the centerpoints but omfg what a pain in the a**. so ive come to the conclusion that.... I NEED CLEAR NEEDLES THAT WORK IN AN AU i just dont think the blue goes through the red filter so yeah....
is there any clear needles for an AU?????
