G'day Guys,
Hoping someone here might be able to help. I have an AUIII XR6 and have recently done the LED conversion on the Instrument Cluster in Blue, my needles are Red, and I reckon most here would know that the 2 don't mix too well LOL I've tried a few things to help illuminate the needles, without sucess unfortunately. So the next step is to whip off the needles and place some LEDs under them, hence the problem. The needles are stuck fast. I've tried using a fork with a thin piece of plastic between the face of the cluster and the fork, so as not to mark it, but the damn things are fixed tight. I'm a bit fearful of pulling out more than just the needles. A friend had suggested hitting it with some heat from a hairdryer while prying the needles off, but am slightly weary of the heating damaging the face or even something else. Has anyone come across this problem or have an alternative to the fork usage?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much guys.

G'day Dave, this is the best I can do for a night shot, as you can see, Red don't show up too well...infact from these pics, not at all. In real time the needles are really faint.

Ok...having problems with attachments lol

LOL, I had to upload to my gallery, the pic is really shocking. The clusters actually alot brighter than the pic suggests but the needles are pretty acurate though bwahahaha
