hey this sounds a bit retarted but how do i get the t-bar off the auto stick so i can remove the plastic panel to paint?? im not 100% sure how to and dont wanna f**k my stick up

just twist it off. Should unscrew right out. You might need to use a tool to hold the nut at the bottom in place while you unscrew the Tbar, but becareful not to scrach the nut.

So pretty much hold the nut at the base and twist the t-bar? i think my mechanical expertise may be able to handle that cheers mate

Loosen the lock nut first (black nut on base of shifter) but only say half a turn so you know the original position when re-fitting shifter. Unscrew the shifter and try not to remove pin.

hmm im gettin worried now
i actually tried loosening tehn ute at the bottom but wouldnt move
mite get me mech mate 2 do it like i do norm then i can blamee him if it f**k up

it def. comes off.. need a big shifter to do it.. undo it.. then the top unscrews.. then unscrew the nut off.. and slide the panel out from the position..

Hold the nut down the bottom and turn the Tbar knob.
