i put my regulators in and i noticed that when i tighten the bottom two bolts that hold the window up all the way the window seems to struggle to go up, no matter how much i try adjusting the window then tighten it it still goes up slow and gets 'caught' in places.

although when i keep them slightly loose it goes up and down no worries. is this normal?? is it ok to keep them slightly loose, i dont mean just haning in there, there about 1.5 turns loose. is this ok? oh its an ef btw

thanks

Don't think you'd wanna leave them loose - even if they were loctited in. If being loose makes them slop around, they'll eventually oval out the holes and make things worse. Have you got a pic of the bolts in question?

there the normal bolts that hold the window to the regulator, its just that every time i tighten them all the way, this refers to all 4 windows btw, they just go up real slow, even with al lthe silicone spray i used and everything...

Make sure when you tighten them up the window is not tilted. If its slightly crooked it will jam in the bailey channel on the way up.
