Nope, dont think so. From memory the shaft in the ef/el is a different size and so wont screw on. Some others have modified magna shifters and the like but....

Yes it will screw on. I had an EL shifter handle in an ED Falcon i used to own. The only thing you have to do is make up a new rod that goes down in the guts of the shifter. From memory the ED (same as EB) rod is too short for the EL handle.
Just get some 3mm rod and bend it the same angle as the rod you took out, just make it a little longer to start with (about 30-40cm) and cut off as much as you need so you can move the shifter with the handle fully screwed on. Also make sure to round the ends of the new rod so the button doesn't get snagged on it. |

Exactly as fordman351 said!
can't you use the el rod but straighten it? as i thought this is how you did it?

I s'pose you could! At the time i bought the handle i thought the rods were exackery the same, so to save myself a trip back to the wreckers i just destroyed one of the old ladys wire hanging plant baskets!
