I'm about to go investigate this all myself, but before I go and get myself all messed up I thought I'd ask the question of those that I thought might know.
I wish to route a coax cable and 4-cores from the very rear of the boot up into the dashboard or alternatively into the console. Are there any existing cable-paths I could use that are easy to feed the wires through? Lukeyson |

I like the idea of routing under the carpet to the console. Since the Video Converter will be under the passenger's seat, it's probably to run the shortest path to avoid any unecessary cable attentuation or cross-talk RFI.
I'll take pictures of whatever I decide to do. Lukeyson |

mine start in the tissue holder (hidden by the sat nav lcd screen) run down the flair trim beside the ICC and shifter surround , then inbetween the center concole and the pastic wall next to the passenger seat, from their it runs to the sat nav computer (under passenger seat) under the passenger side rear skirting,up under the back seat to the DVD stacker and the Amplifier in the boot.
the Flair trim beside the icc will only take so many cables untill it starts to move out of place. you cant see a thing.

Hmm. So either under the carpet on the trans tunnel if i can lif tthe carpet, or up under the kicboard trim which is easy to remove with ta screw.
I can feel a plan coming together.... lLkeyson |
