how you going guys, im not quite sure where to put this but yerh,
im wanting to put a ba-bf shifter into my ED. is it really hard to do, im not a welder or an electrician, but i have done most stuff on my car (wheels, suspension, stereo, headlights) anyway ive seen them on Ebay and what not, first where can i get one from, 2 how to do guide, im sure sum smart cookie on here has made one or done it. and thirdly im not doing it right away i will be putting a full EL-EF interior make over, so it will go into a a EL-EF center console. i have already put a EF gear stick with the extra long rod, if this can be used that would be cool to. thanks alot guys hope this is in the right spot, if not i apologies. im still new.

btw not happy that i can't buy anything in sales yet due to being so new.

Ok, just quickly, it seems your going for the whole shifter with the tiptronic s**t going on, just the bit about using the ef shifter shaft made me wonder if your going for tiptronic or just the shift handle, if you want tip tronic see above, other wise let me know.
