This has most probably been raised before, so my apologies if this is the case.
I am wondering how easy it is to remove the centre console, particularly the rear part, and what are the steps involved? I have got the lens that fits in the back and want to wire it up as part of the interior lights. Thanks Terry

Its easy just remove the 2 screws from under the console lid at the back, and pull it off.
When you put the lens in i found that i had to sandpaper the console a little bit, so that the lens fits in easy. |

to pull the entire console out on a BA/BF involves removal of handbrake lever and trims etc

If you want to put the light in the back of the console, all you need to do is remove the cup holders (They just pull off) and remove the rear vents on the console (It is the console lid and the rear bit with the vents) there are 2 screws that hold that in
