I have just finished reading the below article on BA / BF Cluster Swaps

Is there any issues swapping clusters between BF and BA Series vehicles? E.g. I have a BF Fairmont Ghia 6 speed and was wondering whether i could swap my cluster for a BA Fairmont Cluster? First thoughts according to the article suggest yes however I have some questions:

BA Fairmonts used 4 speed Auto's, the BF Fairmont use 6 (The specific gear displaying in the cluster during tiptronic mode)

BA Fairmonts incorporated Traction Control, the BF Fairmont incorporated Stability Control (A Warning light is displayed in the cluster when deactivated)

With this in mind will a BA Fairmont Cluster work in a BF Fairmont with these differing functions (Neither 6 speed or Stability being available during the BA series) or could there be problems with this type of swap?
