Does anyone know if there is some sort of pressure sensor in the front seats that activates when someone sits in them. If you do, where is it, and how does it work. The seatbelt warning light will go out when there is no passenger, but when the seat is occupied there is an alarm and warning light which stays on until the seatbelt is clipped in.
Also does anyone have a copy or know where one is available for the SRS system better than the on in the Max Ellery's workshop manual.

hi warren, if i recall there is a load sensor in the seat somewhere, which senses the load on the seat so during a collision it knows when to fire the airbag and how hard to fire it. iirc it has 3 settings. empty, small, and large person. for other info try asking lukeyson if he is still about.
