Hahaha... it will fit on the column but sits about an inch further back so reaching indicator stalk might be a bit difficult.... clock spring and airbag might give you some grief. . I said yuk as the Centre of the b series wheels are huge and to me look hideous. .lol.

Do what I did and fit the FG wheel...

EF/EL clock springs are the same
AU is different
BA/BF are different
FG is different

The BA wheel isn't so good...

You will need to keep your AU airbag and find a way to mount that in the hornpad...

All the buttons need to we re-wired... The cruise will be the biggest issue because one button does on and off... You need two... Again all this is detailed in my build thread...

Cheers,
Tim

Would an AU steering wheel fit on the BA’s column?

the AU ended up being scrapped due to too much rust in her - :(

so ended up with a BA & now using FG/SZ steering wheels & SZ combo switches plus working silver audio/cruise buttons thanks to Gothefalcon. i now prefer the FG/SZ steering wheels & yes i do have FG XR.

possibly .. BUT .. the air bag needs to be compatible with the air bag system in the BA. you could possibly also lose out with the audio/cruise controls. i fitted the FG/SZ steering wheels to mine & also used the SZ territory combo switch as mine is a wagooon. the mod to fit all that is actually not hard .. altho you do need to know how to solder/use a soldering iron. and it's been a great mod to do & have also done it to my BF wagooon as well.

cheers
