Hi,
I have a 2005 BA with what I suspect is a cracked board in the ICC as most of the buttons don't work. I am also now the proud owner of a 2003 Fairmont with dual climate control that I am parting out for my 2 projects. Question: Can I do a wholesale swap of the ICC and BEM from the Fairmont to the XT? I want to use the keys from the Fairmont, upgrade the ICC to dual zone climate (from manual) but I can't seem to get my head around the best way to do this and avoid a trip to the dealer. I am aware that I need to grab the HIM, 2 mixer shafts, LH mirror to make the aircon into Dual CC, but am I missing anything that I need to make the rest work? Thanks |

requires the actuator and harness (HIM to actuator) from drivers side as well
can program your original him to suit dual zone but if fairmont one works its already programmed to suit - you may also need Ford to run a HIM selftest to set HIM flap positions when fitted ICC will require programming to your vehicle by Ford before radio will work- make sure you reset plug at rear of ICC (pull towards you)before fitting ICC also will need Ford to program 2 keys and run parameter reset if replacing BEM module before vehicle will start- and change lock barrels.(ignition/door/boot to suit or see locksmith) ............ reprogram remotes to suit vehicle -accessory on-demist switch 3 times-and press any remote button |

you will also require the passenger door loom and may also need to add a wire from the door loom to the connector under the passenger kick panel for the outside temp sensor.
