Just a few questions..

1: Will xr seats from a BA ute bolt straight into a sedan?
2: How easy is it to take the front panel of the cd player off? Thinking of getting it painted the same colour as the car?
3: Does anyone know the sweet torque spot on the BA falcons? You can plant your foot off the line and a lancer will kick your a*** untill it you rev higher...

Cheers

1. Yes

2. Easy enough, lots of bolts/screws and then the delicate ICC to deal with.

3. lol. You've got ~1800KG to get moving the lancer (depending on model) ~1100KG. From a standing start that's a lot of inertia to overcome. Especially as it sounds like you've probably got n/a 6 - 4 speed auto? Neither lend themselves to blistering 0-100 times. Oh, and I hope this is on a drag strip - keep it off the roads.

Cheers mate.

I have taken out the ICC before but never took much notice of how to take off the cover. Simple to do? Just a few screws holding it on?

Once you get the ICC out, the front plate actually holds all the components in place (CD Player, A/C controls, vents, etc). They're all screwed in -- you should notice all the screws easily enough. It's not difficult, just takes a bit of time and patience. If you're not confident, take a few snaps with your digital camera before you pull it apart then you should be able to get it all together again easy enough.
