glenn, im not interested in having an argument with you here, althoguh AU's are supposedly "lemons" there are alot of nice ones getting around... i mean hell, i almost bought a 3.9 ea fairy ghia for my 1st car...

but what i say im going to do i almost always do..

restoration on car: almost complete
"doing up" the car: almost complete
worked 2L engine: almost complete (when they start sending me the right parts to finish it)
supercharger: shopping
5 speed sierra gearbox: going to perth saturday for it
paint job: still sanding car down
custom interior: unsure about as yet which is why im discussing it here...

now im not forcing you to belive me, but if there is something i havent done, that i said i was going to do, by the time the car is finished.. then by all means, call me a dreamer, but until that time...
im basically just trying to do what alot of other people in here are trying to do

AU's supposedly "LEMONS"?

I'd love to know who told you that! They are without doubt the most reliable Falcon ever built.
So what if the S1 Falcon was ugly, nobody can knock them for being a s**t.
Talk to cab drivers, most hate the BA and want their AU's back.

lol @ AU's being lemons... It seems like some people judge the reliability of a car just by how visually appealing it is walker! Like you said, if they can survive as taxi's, they've gotta be pretty damn reliable.

when you are 13 and tell me you are getting a 50k+ car, either your rich daddy has his tackle in your mouth nightly, or you won lotto.... the latter is not possible.
