Hi all.

FTG sent me a brochure recently from www.carbonimage.com.au regarding BA and BF Falcon Trim replacements.

It piqued my interest. While this company does everything in Carbon-Fibre, I'm interested in replacing some of my inserts with brushed aluminium.

The bits I'd like to replace include:

(1) Door handle inserts front and rear
(2) ICC Facia and upper section
(3) Manual Gear surround and Drink Hold lid

The BA already has the brushed aluminium dash insert that encompass the lower vent outlets (lower vents that I believe were deleted on BA MKII and BF, but returned on BF MKII)

I've also found www.steeringwheels.com.au - who do either stick-on colour changes or exchange units. They don't seem to do the BA door trims though.

Are there any other options that people are aware of?

I've had the same response elsewhere.

Seems my options are:

(1) Get ASL Logistics to redo the ICC Face ($100) - http://www.asllogistics.com/ford_upgrades.html - or just make sure that FTG send me a Brushed Aluminium ACC when I upgrade (see other threads).

(2) Buy a BF or GT Drink Holder ($120) - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-BA-BF-FPV-G ... dZViewItem

(3) Buy a BF XR manual Gear Surround (not found)

(4) Buy BF Door Handles - ($175) http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FALCON-BF-INSIDE ... dZViewItem

(5) Buy a GT Rear Air Vent ($120) - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-BA-FPV-GT-G ... dZViewItem

The Bayford stuff is prices for new parts, FTG is 2nd hand.

I'm discouraged at those prices. Maybe FTG pricing would be cheaper if they have bits on hand, but I won't waste their time at this point since I've asked them a lot lately.

Why don't you just paint the existing parts in 2 pack paint at a panel beater? would probably be cheaper than that s**t. I want my ICC and dash inserts re done in silhouette.

For some parts I would. Except that I can't paint. And since I want all the little screen printed text on the ICC, I'd also have the potential problem of the paint not matching if ASL did the ICC and I did the rest.
