I added the rear footwell light on Saturday (before reading the handy wiring diagram and other entries today) and in the end ran the wiring from the interior dome wiring in the front driver's side piller because I spent enough time (ie, ages) trying to find a better spot and due to the difficulty I had pulling the interior to bits, gave up.

I will add the front footwell lights after a trip to the wrecker (thanks for the heads up) and I may use the wiring diagram for that and possibly to fixup the rear footwell wiring if i get really keen. I am very happy with the rear light (I used a bootlight fitting which fitted into the BA centre console with a bit of glue).
