hey guys.

im looking at replacing all my factory speakers to after market ones and then later on two ten inch subs.

i know the rear speakers at 5 x 7's but i dont know how big the fronts are. could anyone help me with this?

mate the fronts are also 5x7's. exactly the same speaker front and back.

a mateof mine was upgrading his speakers in his au. It also has 5x7's and he found ALPINE TYPE R's to have the adapter plate included to fit these 6 inch speakers into factory 5x7 hole.

my mate has advised me to get alpines, bt i'll see how i go

Theyre a great speaker, available in splits (about 280 rrp) and two way (about 180 rrp)

ah beauty, how do you recommend i go about it?

get one set of splits and one set of two ways?

i dont really know alot about this lol.

put splits in front and relocate tweeter somewhere at a higher level, enev in the factory tweeter place (in a pillar trims). and get two or three (cant remember) ways for the rear.
