Hi all,
First post here, so I hope I'm in the right section. The falcon has no heat from the heater :/ I've known of the issue for 2 winters now, but with a baby due soon, and this being the family car I need to get it sorted. From the posts here on the forum, I'm lead to believe it's the air mix shaft. I've also got an issue with my rear demister, I'm not sure if the two are related. I'm hoping to find someone in the Sydney/Campbelltown area who knows how to do this (mainly the air mix, the demister isn't real important ATM). I started to do it on my own, but don't have the tool big enough to pull the seats out, and I can't see the value in over $1k to take it to the dealership. Cheers, Luke. |

you'll need a torx t50 (from memory) to remove your seats, dash is held in by 8 bolts (13mm i think) 3 each side one of them is between the door and body, one bolt by the drivers left foot, one under the icc and one hex bolt (5mm?) up top in the middle of the dash under the little bit of trim between the windscreen vents. a mate may be helpful to help remove the dash. I'm going by info i have read through the forums. so could be wrong on the sizes
