new to the forum, seeking a bit of info regarding installing the courtesy light that sits in the rear of the centre console.

i have a ba xr8 with the luxury pack, and the globe holders for the front footwell lights were already there so i've hooked those up. i'm thinking there has to be a plug behind the icc somewhere for a loom to connect to and run down the console for the light.

does anyone have a photo or know where that connector is located, and is there an easy way to access it without ripping the entire console/icc apart?

i've reviewed that and it's not what i'm after.

For the rear console light, I found it easiest to run wiring from the front courtesy footwell circuit down the side of the console. You don't need to rip apart the console to do this -- if you remove all the top screws, the console will loosen sufficiently for you to run new wiring down.

that's a shame. i was of the impression there'd be a connector somewhere for the rear loom.
