possibly... it would be a fair bit of mucking around...
if u wanna keep costs down, get seats out of an "XLS" ute, as IIRC they are the same seat as XR's just with different stitching.

I saw a BA Fairmont Ghia with full leather go for $8k at auction yesterday. Just needed a full front end. Would've been a great project !

I'm not sure I would've repaired it, but it would've made an excellent donor car.

All the front pannels and supports had been cut off, just leaving the engine sitting there in the open :)

well, if the car was still drivable, with a lil work, i woulda made the motor work properly, ripped the rear pads off and made it a burnout car, i mean for 8k u get a new smashed up falcon, not like ur gunna worry if u crash it, or it blows up if ya pay so little for it are ya?

and i spose having no panels would keep it cooler to ey??, its late, and im in a stupid mood....just ignore me

even a first release BA ghia would still go for $25 grand in a used car lot so their must be some serious damage done for them not to repair it.
