Would a BA Gear Knob or Pedals fit into an EF and has anyone tried it?

Thanks,
Luke.

OK then the BA gearknob does not fit straight up, a few problems

The BA shifter pulls up to change gear position not push down like EF

The BA shifter has a wider shaft on it, means it could be packed out to fit the EF shaft however.

Scuff plates not looked into them.

i HAVE tried BA scuff plates on E series. They are shorter and bolt holes don't line up. Colour is also an issue. Pedals? i can't think why not

got any pics how bad they dont line up, bolt holes can always be fixed (i.e. drilled)

i'll try to get pics, (it was just a spur of the moment thing when my mum got her new car:wink: ) but they are MUCH shorter then the E series ones and don't cover the whole gap. They fit on quite well, its just the length thats an issue.

i hear from the aufalcon.com doco's site that you can fit the scuff plates to an au falc, my dad has an au and his scuff plates seem the same as mine, will have to look into this.

Pedals will fit.. But you'll need to modify them a bit.

(That's on my AU. But EF/EL should be the same).

Are you talking just the pedal pads or the whole pedal assembly?
