Well done on having a crack at it. Without people having a go very little gets discovered.
The BA wheel looks surprisingly good against the EF/L Interior.

One thing I'm curious about though, why didn't you just replace the resistors on the BA cruise circuit boards with resistors to suit the EF/L cruise system?

Also, could someone explain what the dual stages of a BA airbag are?

That was the plan but the circuits are different. The pathways are totally different. so i made new ones instead.
OK airbags- Ba's have dual stage. Depending on seat position. If seat is all the way foreward, then 1st stage goes off. If seat is all way back, 2nd stage goes off.

i have wired up a BA PASSENGER Airbag to my AU and the airbag system is happy.. airbag light functions as normal... it is All AU (airbag controller and wiring looms) the only BA bit is the physical airbag, i have just connected the AU loom to the airbag plug on the drivers side of the ba airbag... im not sure which stage it is...

so hopefully the steering wheel airbag is the same...
