Needs to be lowered.

How much is an XR front end conversion?

Going to have a look at this one.

Futura, under a 100,000ks has tinted windows and roof rack. That screams family car to me. Should be able to get it for $10k.

Cost me about a grand for bar (luckily already painted correct colour), fog lights, headlights and grille. Very easy DIY conversion too.

Actually looking at a BF wagon now.

I've heard the early BAs had problems with the coolant and gearbox oil seals in the radiator.

BF seems the way to go.

Well I got a BF XT wagon today.
93,000ks on it. Good condition. Ex Water Corp car.

Very happy with it. Will post pics when I pick it up.

Purchased from Lynford in Osbourne Park from Robbie Atkin. Great guy to deal with. No nonsense salesman. Pleasure to deal with.

Recommend them.

Yes , there IS a difference...hence my comment about mine having no hairdryer (turbo). I followed the build thread of the tsunami wagon right through with MUCH interest on AFF, only I'm actually doing an XR interior in mine as well as the exterior mods.

Yes, they did...all you need is an external transmission cooler fitted, problem solved. I'd get a cooler fitted to the BF as well, even though they reckon they've fixed the radiators in the BF's...trust nobody when it comes to big repairs like transmissions. It'll help prolong the life of your gearbox as well...win-win situation. Congrats with your purchase, hope you're as happy as I am with mine, they're a great car.
