Just wondering if anyone knew what wires im looking for (Colours or combo's) to put in my own footwell lights? I think im looking in the right place but there isnt any wires sticking out to me.
Ive read many people saying that the wire was just hanging there or plugged into the globe holder but im wires free at the moment & struggling to identify my wires..
Any helps appreciated

green with yellow trace = power from BEM module
black with blue trace = earth from BEM when light turned on

So connecting my wires with these should give me my light on door opening?

I have a MK 1, and the bulb holders are already in place. I have had all the interior lights going for years.

93EB, you may well be correct. My son was upgrading all lighting in my car,at the time, and found all the bulb holders in place. BA MK1.

check behind glovebox and fusebox for plug to connect globe holders into - if none remove RH A pillar trim and check in wiring loom behind for mentioned wire colours to use to connect your own wiring to .............................

by holder you mean the fitting the globeholder locks into??
