You know, I've never found anyone that's got the paint code for the type of Silver used on the BA GT ICC, or on the XR Dash Spears. I've just had to find the closest cheap-spraycan match I could via spraying into a lid at Supercheap.

Luke, I wouldn't try and 'alloy' the switch surround. Don't think it'll "work".

Well, check my custom 'BA Door Handle' inerts in the pictures above. They came out quite good with a bit of clear on them, and was a very close match.

My Manual Gearshift Surround and Rear Vent outlet Register are adorned in this colour as well. It blends right in.

No no no no.

I'm not saying you can't get it to look the same (already proven). Just that it wouldn't (IMHO) look right, having an alloy look there on the switches, it'd look unbalanced.

I wouldn't do it. But don't let me stop you, you've got spares to experiment on.

I think maybe the bling-bug has bitten. After seeing the chrome-pack above, I thought I'd paint up some spare lab bits and trial them on the car to see if they work for me.

Paints used - the silver is a pretty close match. Those dash spears never look the same colour because they point down. But they were the items I took into Supercheap to match! If you compare the colour to the reflection of the ICC it looks like a closer match there.

Mate that looks great! Good job.

What's the name/brand of that silver paint you used? I might pop down to Supercheap myself and give it a go.

Trial Bling Bling fitment. The button switch surrounds now appear to work a bit better in total. In isolation they looked a bit much.

If this gets to me I'll reverse it, but it's sorta working for me at the moment.

File comment: All I had was a busted Territory switch. I don't think it works well at all on that switch - it's too overpowering. So I'm not sure about the switches anymore.

I reckon it's pretty nifty looking, good work dude. As an overall picture it really works. I reckon they should've done it with the FPV models, seeing as they made the console all silver.

The only wheel with added bling is one of these.

A bit too much for me pricewise, and in some ways, not quite enough bling to make much of a difference....

It's a great wheel, much better the drive with than any of the other stockers.
