I second that!
The FPV wheel is awesome to drive with!
It's amazing the difference a slightly smaller diameter wheel can make to how a car feels.

Not yet. They're still floating around somewhere. The Territory switch only busted just recently - I'd been wanting something to practice on first.

The Dash Clock ain't blue either. Working on it.

Thanks to auMatt, I soldered up some bling of a different type in my switches.

If anyone has been following some of the stuff I've been doing lately, this is just another part of the Blue/Silver highlight fetish that I'm satiating...

A bit too much for me pricewise, and in some ways, not quite enough bling to make much of a difference....

Mate, I wish I could, but I used up all my domestic goodwill getting the BF Fairlane interior.

Never doubted you on the soldering. It's the desoldering that still scares me.

LOL
Fair enough

Did you see the ba ghia interior that went on ebay for 600

That would have suited you better - from a sedan!

The BA Fairmont Ghia seats have less movement and different leather. That one looked to have a damaged drivers seat too. The front seatbacks and front door pockets are all in velour, and the leather is stitched together differently - much better in my opinion - in what I got. The rear seats have adjustable headrests too - not that any of this makes that much difference really. So no unhappiness.

Price wise I'm also a little ahead, since getting looms and modules to support side airbags would still be required on that Fairmont setup - and I notice that the airbags had been deployed on that eBay car. But yes, not having to retrim the side bolsters would have been an advantage. I'm yet to do that.

The BF door handles. You forgot that one too. I'm now upgraded to them. And with the extra wrap-around bit on the front doors I'm even less likely to try the window switch surround.

I've been looking on eBay to try and get maybe a Ute front switch pair just for the surrounds to try, but I keep underestimating what they are worth.
