ashcook wrote: Nope sorry, no where near it. The angles and the dimensions are completely different. I went to do the same thing myself, had a look at both seats next to each other and decided to put the seats into another car. Didn't think it was worth the huge hassle I could see it to turn out to be. Well what have the other people have done? swapped rails?

The best way I could think to install these on an AU would be to cut out that section of floor on a BA and have the AU piece replaced by that? Lot of work to go to but at least it WOULD fit.
You can buy a NEW front floor panel for $290.00 from Ford and maybe you could find a GOOD welder/Panel Beater to weld it in for you. |

That seems to be way too much s**t to go through just for seats. I would suggest to get a boiler maker or someone with good fab skills to make up an adapter plate so the AU rails fit to the BA seats. Welding may not even be required. The bottom of the seat where the rails is flat? get some flat bar for each side and drill 2 sets of holes in to 2 pieces, 1 for both rails. then you bolt the flat bar to the to the seat and the second set of holes can be drilled to suit the AU rails. Unless im missing something here, the only thing that f**k you up is the floor pan? the rails are flat on the top and it can only be the position of the holes on the seats that stop you from doing it. |

someone got a pic, shout out to ash. I want to see it now Im sure if you really wanted to you could adapt the rails to the BA seats, by means of fabrication.
