Does anyone have a picture of a AU or BA xr6 5speed gearknob.
I wanna change my factory EF knob but dont want to use one of those tacky supercheap knobs. I like the factory look.
Once i have seen a pic i will hunt one down to buy.

BA gear knob isn't painted. I had one replaced when when some warranty work was carried out. Mech' said they cost $160.

The BA ones. I'd go an AU momo one, check em out on ebay. They're leather. The BA xr ones are painted like a silver with leather and the silver wears off them easily.

BA XR Gearnobs are NOT painted silver, they are polished alloy. They only go dull because of the sweat etc out of your hands (which also makes your hand black if you rest it on the gearknob for ages) A good metal polish will restore it back to original bright silver finish.

I have installed(well, unscrewed old and screwed on new)BA XR6 knob.Polished alloy, not painted and leather reasonable quality. If you have mate at Ford dealership ask them about them. One of the options is a "leather pack" which means new knob.Original one is usually thrown, hence how i got mine.............

And also restore your hand to a normal fleshly colour.
