ok, so my mates ba xr6 has an issue, the headlights only turn on when you turn the high beams on, the parking lights work as usual, i checked all the fuses in the engine bay, swapped the relays, and nothing make them work by themselves, also when i took the high beam fuse & relay out the headlights didnt work when i put the high beams on, my guess is its the headlight switch? any idea's or thoughts to help solve the issue?
thanks in advance

Probably both of your low beam globes are blown. H4 globes are dual filament, one for low beam and one for high beam. When you turn on high beam, the low beam filament turns off.

Or it could possibly be the low beam relay. If you turn your lights on and off you will be able to hear the relay clicking on and off.

I beleve it is eithier blown globes, faulty switch, or BCM, and I'd be trying those things in that order.

Another thing I've heard of with BA's is a broken wire in the combination switch stalk.
When you checked the globes, did you just look at them or swap the with working ones? Just because they don't look, blown doesn't mean they aren't.
