g'day fellas, im pretty sure that my flasher has packed in so need to get a new instrement cluster, i was looking at the xr ones, and there not that much more $$, is it just as simple as plugging an xr one into my xt model ba? will any of the programing get messed with? any help would be tops, cheers.

yea simple plug and play job. only thing i can recall i had an issue with was traction control light. if you dont have traction control it will stay illuminated, but it is fairly easy to turn it off yourself with a scan tool or even to get ford to do it. mind you i was installing an fpv cluster into an xt, not an xr cluster
