Mine was doen by Ford for 50 bucks, but If i remember right, Its as simple as Unplagging the battery and leaving for 5-10 mins, then simply undoing the backing bolts behind the wheel, remove the airbag, take the wheel off and do the opposite to put on.

buy the airbag tool for $30 off FTG and do it yourself.
I just changed my steering wheel last night for the second time. I've also used it on mates cars so its paid itself off. Heres the wheel i put in last night: |

I just used a T50 (i think its called) torx bit to undo the bolt and then had one of the hardest tugs in my life! Yeah AU's have a special 5 pointed torx bit with a hole in it to remove the airbags. When we changed the steering wheel over on mitch andersons EF i don't think it had them (BA/BF need this tool), but i do remember bending the f**k out of his old wheel to get it off lol.. I used an allen key instead of the T50 torx bit and it worked fine. |

When i changed my steering wheel i disconnected the battery and when i hooked it up again the car idled like s**t.. it had to relearn the idle etc. When we changed mitch_anderson's steering wheel over we just pulled the airbag fuse on it and no dramas. |
