A battery warning light is displayed on the instrument cluster, but the battery still getting good about 14V charging voltage. Does anybody know what could be wrong or if someone could help with a wiring diagram?
Thanks, Valeri

mine did that after a degreasing.
from what ive gathered its shorted out the warning lamp in the alternator and making the light go on. mines been on constantly for the last month and no ill effects. interesting fact, but not recommended, when i douse the alt in water and start it, the light goes off. the opposite of what would normally happen if it got wet.

check your battery connections in case a lead has not broken or crudded up with corrosion. pour hot water over the terminals and roughen up the connections to the battery with wet and dry. could be as simple as that.
