my seats have a fair few stains on them esp the drivers seat, as some tool sat in there repeatedly while covered in oil ;)

was wondering whats the best way to go about cleaning them?

do i pull the covers of the seats? how?
use carpet cleaner while seat in the car? would the inner foam survive this?
give in and pay a professional to do it? i dont like this option :)

thanks

Just pay someone.....easier, and chances are they will do a better job with a shampoo machine than you could scrubbing with cleaner and rags. $50 tops and thats if they do your carpets too.
