Hey all.

Scored an Ego BF XR6 last week... 8-)

The belt minder was going off intermittently (along with code 51 on the airbag light) - so stoopid here sprayed WD40 down the buckle...

That killed the minder circuit, the seat track sensor and drivers side (seat) airbag circuit.

It's only got 2 airbags - the yellow bridge plugs are fitted.

Basically - I got no power to the drivers seat, the passengers side measures 3.8v to the seat belt.

I have changed the buckle and pre-tensioner assy (figured I shorted the old one...)

Still no good, no belt minder & the 3 RCM faults (Belt buckle, seat track and side airbag) - flashes 51 on the dash.

WHERE does this get power from? I assume the RCM itself, which sounds like I have fried it?

Thoughts anyone? Feel free to laugh...

Shane.

That would be the plugs where I am measuring the voltage?

Yeah - had them in and out several times...

I wish.

youve replaced the whole seatbelt buckle stalk and pretensioner? (im guessing were talking the drivers seat) check the stalk on the buckle, does the ribbed black cover look all scrunched or does it look all uniform and good?
