does anyone know how i can install the blend door without removing the heater box i read the tec doc n it just covers the wiring it doesn't tell you how to actually do it which i was disappointed in because they did say you don't need to dump your fluids on the
this is for a EL gli

I think with the right tools and some swearing it is possible... I think it has a couple of phillips head screws in it? So you'll need some way adapting it into a ratchet and keeping it as narrow as possible...

If you cannot get something in the gap then yes you'll need to dump the coolant and AC gas to get the heaterbox away from the firewall...

Those motors are a pain in the a** and seemingly always play up... So making yourself a tool that works or spending a few bucks to buy a few bits and pieces may come in handy in the future...

Other than that I cannot comment... I have manual climate control and it's never failed me yet... Touch wood...
