My left passenger window will wind down not up, we pulled the door trim off & attempted to get the window up no luck! eventaully we pulled the cable that pulls the window & pressed the up button it went up but now I will not open it till its fixed.

Is there away to fix this easy or does it involve pulling the window out aswell as the motor?

It's gone. The plastic clip that holds the two cables together wear out then the cables let go. Need to get a whole new assembly. From wreckers about $60.

You can use a slider assy off a manual winder setup - you'll probably find the plastic retainer for the cables to be in better nick.
