If I need something or looking for something, I'll have the interior light on.

Footwell lights arent illegal. Fairmonts and Fairlanes have them stock remember?

but footwell lighting while driving they're not gonna see unless they're right up beside you at night... ive got 2 multi LED sticks under the dash, rigged up to the door sensor's, only use them when a door is open, and they light up really well

a few weeks ago in Kmart i got some Under car LED's, meant to just stick on to the chassis and wire em up. They are simply two very bright Blue LED's in each thing. I put the in my front Froot wells & under my rear seats to light up the rear. Looks great but they are fairly directional. they are very small and just stick on with double sided tape. If you stick em in the centre they light up fine, if you have to stick them angled, the light will be veyr bright where they are pointing then fade off. But there ok. Cost $20. You can wire straight into foot well lamp wires or run seperate if you want. I am going to get another four for the Boot. two on parcel shelf and two at the side to give a nice even blue all across the boot.

I HATE THOSE THINGS!

long story short, removing mates stereo install, the previous installer had cable tied everything! i woulda cut 20 of the pricks off at least, some not the in easiest spots to get to... and ended with my slicing an RCA lead :(

yeah but with 12inch neons they cost $20 each. Do 4 foot wells and your up for $80. With the small LED lighting i have they are $20 for 4 lots. 1 in each foot well is fine. and they are small only about 3cm long, 2 cm wide, 2 cm high. You can stick them anywhere with the double sided tape on the back. Nice and easy. I will take some photos when i have a chance to show how they come up.
