i recently had alternator probs were the alternator would either be "over charging, charging, or not charging at all".....
I recieved my car back from the work shop and they explained to me that the wiring harness for the alternator was dirty/corroded a lil... And that they tidied it up... but ever since i recieved the car back every time i start the engine an alarm sounds from the "Body control module" (BCM) it beeps 5 times 5 seconds later it beeps 5 times again... -so 5 beeps five time over.. "beep beep beep beep beep..................... beep beep beep beep beep"................... beep beep beep beep beep"..................... beep beep beep beep beep............................ beep beep beep beep beep'............................................... Then stops..... and stays normal (no beeps" ).......... -Think you get the idea.... Any idea whats causing this to happen?

Is it an airbag or low oil pressure warning?

I've heard of this somewhere

Airbag -

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=3

Quote -
If an Airbag fault fault is present and the Airbag indicator is malfunctioning, then an audible tone will be heard.
The tone is a series of 5 (Five) sets of 5 (Five) Beeps.

So you have an airbag bulb out, and maybe more?

It says that it'll give the 5 sets of beeps if the light is out AND there is a fault, so i'd check out the rest of the section to see if you can pull some fault codes - just to be sure :)
