Nah it's nothing to do with that, you can hear it clicking likes it's trying to open but never releases

hope you have a poverty pack without a fairmont carpet. and more importantly no gas
ok can you open it by the key on the boot if so it might just be the solonoid for the latch shat itself, if you can't and you can hear it clicking at the boot and it's jammed shut well crawl through and use a screwdriver to force the latch, the glue they use between the bracing and skin sometimes cracks and falls in the latch jamming the latch, quite a pain in the a**.

haha not quite but no gas, yes i can open it with the key, where is the solenoid located?
